This award determines the minimum legal pay required for the hours worked and conditions for all clerical staff.

The Clerks Award covers all employment types in clerical work. This includes recording, typing, calculating, invoicing, billing, charging, checking, receiving and answering calls, cash handling, operating a telephone switchboard and attending a reception desk.
