The Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award covers all employment types in each respective industry.

‘Food, beverage and tobacco manufacturing’ means the preparing, cooking, baking, blending, brewing, fermenting, preserving, filleting, gutting, freezing, refrigerating, decorating, washing, grading, processing, distilling, manufacturing and milling of food, beverage and tobacco products, including stock feed and pet food, and ancillary activities.

Variations include:

• Food & Beverage (10 hour day)
• Food & Beverage (38 hour week)
• Food & Beverage (M-F: 5 x 7.6 – set shifts)
• Food & Beverage (M-Thu: 4 x 8 hour, F: 6 hour – set shifts)

The SCHADS Award covers workers under all employment types who provide personal care, domestic assistance or home maintenance to an aged person or a person with a disability in a private residence.

The Local Government Industry Award covers workers under all employment types in the local government where all work is performed in council, local council, county council, municipal council, shire council or other local government body created under or regulated by local government legislation of a State or Territory.

The Restaurant Industry Award covers workers under all employment types in the restaurant industry, including restaurants, reception centres, night clubs, cafes and roadhouses, and any tea-room, café, or catering by a restaurant business.
